Car enthusiasts have always had a problem: the platforms built for them were built by people who don't actually care about cars.
Oliver and Benjamin set out to fix that. Club Ignition is a community platform where cars are the social entities — not the people. Each vehicle gets its own profile, build journal, and story. Owners document their rides, share the history behind every modification, and connect with others who genuinely understand the obsession.
Built from the ground up — product strategy, engineering, and design handled entirely in-house — Club Ignition launched in 2025 as a mobile-first community for enthusiasts who want more than a forum.
It started as a dream between two friends who met in a school gym and bonded over Gran Turismo. Twenty-two years later, it shipped.
Most high school students get 38 minutes of college counseling a year. Private advisors cost thousands. For families who couldn't afford either, the system was simply stacked against them.
Edmission was born from years of informal coffee-shop advising — helping friends and family navigate a process that shouldn't require a private counselor to survive. Oliver built the product, Benjamin designed the experience, and the founding team launched in 2016: a personalized college admission planning platform that gave every student access to guidance previously reserved for those who could pay for it.
Edmission was accepted into The Circular Board accelerator and presented at Stanford in a Y Combinator startup school class. The original platform has since evolved — today Edmission continues helping students through college essay review and summer program recommendations.
